InstaPay Application

The IPA or the Instant Payment Address gets created while registering each account on the Instant Payment Network, and you can share it with others instead of sharing the actual bank account or Meeza card number.

Only customers with a local mobile number can add their accounts to the application and it should be the one which is registered in the bank.

Customers will be able to register on Instapay application, transfer and receive instantly 24/7 from their accounts in Egyptian banks participating in the Instant Payment Network (IPN) while being abroad.

Yes, The IPA will be blocked after entering wrong/invalid “IPN PIN” 5 times.

• Click on “Manage" in the home page or through “Manage accounts”
• Select the account that you want to reset it's “IPN PIN”
• Click on “Forgot PIN”
• Enter the card number (16 digits) and PIN (4 digits)
• Enter the received OTP (One Time Password) through SMS then you will be able to create a new “IPN PIN” (6 digits) which will be used in fund transfer, balance inquiry and mini statement

Minor accounts are not eligible to use InstaPay application.

You can transfer money to each bank as per the below amounts:

• EGP 70,000 per transaction
• EGP 120,000 per day
• EGP 400,000 per month

If you have several accounts in different banks linked to the same InstaPay account, then you can reach the above transfer limits for each bank.

There is no limit for receiving funds.

You can only use your current and saving accounts in local currency EGP in InstaPay application and the foreign currency accounts are not available for now.

You will not be able to perform transactions through the application if there is a block on the account.

• Click on “Check Balance” next to the accounts on the "Main Page"
• Enter the 6-digit “IPN PIN”
• Your balance will appear

There are two ways

First method:

• Click on “Transactions History” displayed on the “Home Page”
• A list of account transactions will be displayed

Second method:

•  Click on “Manage Accounts” on the main page
• Select the account/Meeza prepaid card you wish to view
• Click on “Check transactions” displayed
•  A list of account transactions will be displayed

• Click on “Manage Accounts” on the “Home Page”
• Choose the account you want to set as default
• Click on “Set as default”

• Click on “Collect Money” at the bottom of the screen
• Choose the collection method: “Mobile Number” or “IPA” or "Multiple Collect"
• Enter the “Mobile Phone Number” or “IPA” and then press “Next”
• Review the transaction summary, then press “Confirm”
• Collect request will be sent

The reason for this is that your bank is not yet participating in the Instant Payment Network (IPN), therefore not included in the list.

InstaPay application is only available for individual customers only and not available for corporate accounts.

No, you can only register to InstaPay application with your Debit card or Meeza prepaid card.

No, you can only add your Meeza cards or your saving/current bank accounts so far.

You can settle your Credit Cards through "InstaPay" by following the steps below:

• Click on “Send Money” on the Homepage.
• Choose “Card” as the option to send money.
• Enter the card details, amount to be transferred then click "Next".
• Review the transfer details.
• Enter the IPN PIN then press "Enter".

You can transfer to your Debit Cards/Meeza Prepaid Cards through "InstaPay" by following the steps below:

• Click “Send Money” on the Homepage.
• Choose “Card” as the option to send money.
• Enter the card details, amount to be transferred then click "Next".
• Review the transfer details.
• Enter the IPN PIN then press "Enter".

Follow the below steps:

• Click “Send Money” in the homepage.
• Choose payment type (Bank account, bank card, mobile number, or any E-wallet in Egypt).
• Enter the amount to be transferred.
• Insert the “IPN PIN” and then click "Enter".

Follow the below steps:

• Click “Manage accounts”
• Choose the bank account/Meeza prepaid card
• Click “Change PIN”
• Enter current “IPN PIN”
• Enter new “IPN PIN”
• Enter the new "IPN PIN" for confirmation 
• "IPN PIN" will be set successfully

Follow the below steps:

• Click “Bill Payment” in the homepage.
• Choose the bill to be paid (telecom & internet, electricity, water, and gas bills).
• Insert all the required details.
• Insert the 6 digits “IPN PIN” then click “Enter”.
